When the water recedes from our ponds, we may be able to assess replant needs.

Does anyone know if bean plants will survive 3 weeks under water? I know that corn will not...even with the top 7/8 ths of the plant showing.

I thought I remembered seeing "aquaculture" being practiced many years ago @ WDW. Maybe back when Walt was still taking tickets @ the front gate...but anyway, I'm not much of a believer any more in aquaculture. Looks like a plant version of water-boarding, but the results are terminal. Our corn never broke down or talked though...it held out right to the end & died.
