East Central Ia | They can effect pollination if they clip the silks prior to pollinating. But those pictures that corn looks to be finished pollinating so spraying to kill them now would be a waste of money imo.
I had them really really bad in a number a couple years ago but they didn't get thick until after that field was done pollinating and they had zero effect on yield. I even sprayed that field with fungicide and left the insecticide out. | |
