Subject: 24 d and cow peas

Iola, Texas
More of a hay and stock guy. Using PASTUREALL HL that is going to be about 1500 ft away ( corner to corner) from some land planted in cowpeas( pretty sure thats what he raises) . All the classes I have taken has said dont spray in the same county with cotton. ( just trying to emphasis the dangers of drift and 24d)
The field will be NW of my spray area, Wind is coming out of the SE 5-7 MPH. Will be using air induction nozzles ( blue teejet AIXR 80 I think ) running about 13-15 gal per acre. Probably will be in the 4-5 mph zone. I have a SCS 450 controller.
I have a 3pt sprayer so I can run pretty close to ground if need be. Probably in the 1.5-1.8 pt per acre rate. I can run slower or change gallons per acre so whatever advise is welcomed.

What say the experts? What are areas I can watch out for or am I just being over cautious? Temps down here probably in the mid 90's in the afternoon
