Not sure on residual but I wouldn't doubt that's right and I can promise you it can bother corn several months out. As far as cultivation anytime I had to break open the ground around here you better be putting down another layer of residual herbicide cause I can gaurantee you will have pigweed coming up where you disturbed the ground here.
