Subject: RE: repairing wind damage to bin roof?

Sw mn
A few years back on our July 1st storm 7 roof sheets blew in like yours it was on a 48' 12 ring so 44' side walls the bin was only a year old. Called around and found a crew. The bin was full to the eve. They had one boom truck and 5 guys they fixed the roof with new sheets and put braces in. Total bill was under 5k. It only took one day. They braced the center ring with 2x6's nailed together and one Jack on a plywood base. They cut the sheets out in sections with a nibbler and air chisel. And put the new sheets up. But when they started they put a large TARP on the corn and covered with plywood. When they were done they ripped the plywood into strips and threw it out the side manhole on top.
