Planted corn after cereal rye cover for the first time this year. My cover seed guy said to spray it out at least 10 days ahead of planting the corn, due to allelopathic and nitrogen tie-up. The weather did not allow that and it got sprayed the day before planting the corn. Best looking corn I've got this year from day one.
Trying cover crop?
