West Ky | The Mississippi is much larger in size south of Cairo. Matter of fact most of the water comes from the Ohio River than the Mississippi North.
Should be called Mississippi all the way to Pennsylvania.
The Ohio River is tiny in Cincinatti compared to how big it is in say Paducah Ky.
Mississippi Just South of Cairo it's just over a mile wide. I couldn't imagine the size of the river in the flood of '27 everything was flooded and flooded deep. '93 flood was a tick bite compared to that. Took 4 months for the water to drain off. | |
