No low protein premium here (SWND), but these prices are for DNS (HRS). I tried some SWW a few years back and it did well, but the buyer went bankrupt and I only got paid $0.30 on the $1 for the SWW I delivered. I would like to try SWW again, but I have not found a buyer. With the cool wet weather we have been having the past few years, it would be easy to grow low protein wheat. Our HRW harvest should start around August 1, and HRS around August 7, both about a week behind normal. |
