Surestart was developed to be a pre ahead of RR corn so the preferred label rate of 2 pint / acre is really only a "half rate". It is a combination of Hornet and Surpass. If you look at their labels and compare them to Suretart it would take about 4 pint / acre of Surestart to equal a full rate of Hornet and Surpass. So if you want to use Surestart as a 1 pass pre-only you better use about 3.5 pint / acre and 1# of Atrazine. I would avoid the Surestart post because when we used to use Hornet post it would ding the corn pretty bad.
