Most over here have been going when it's about a foot tall so I'd say do it this week and split the difference. My tallest is 6-8" looking to probably start spraying mine to lay by this week then top dress with 200lbs urea next week, I have 40 units of N out pre so I will have close to 140 total, 95-100k pop all irrigated.
