SC Sask | The field peas would be pretty easy as there are a fairly big seed, should just need a wind and screen machine and a gravity table. The oats may be a little more tricky, you may want to add a destoner to try and get out some of the heavier stuff like wheat (if it's a problem).
We have Cimbria and LMC equipment in our plant both are very reliable, our Cimbria wind and screen and LMC gravity table both have 30,000 hours on them with only minor repairs such as bearings and motors.
Just have your end goal set out from the get-go, back in '82 my dad started his own plant to do certified seed, in the off time he did seed for a few neighbours, built a bigger plant, did more neighbours.....now he is doing mostly export seed and has no room in the schedule for the farm's seed. Especially if you have a neighbor involved, have an agreement about how to take on extra work, how and when to expand, etc
