Subject: its been a few days...BORON!

Central IL
Since someone asked a boron question. Does anyone have any side by side comparisons linking a correlation between either boron application resulting in a yield gain or boron deficiency causing a yield drag and actually quantifying it with some numbers? I have very low soil and tissue samples and have made two boron applications with no improvement. Curious if anyone has proof of higher levels helping yield and am questioning if test levels for "deficient" levels may just be outdated or incorrect? My soil tests show .1-.5 lb/acre and tissue samples have been 4-6 ppm. Thanks for any "proof"!
