Don't know much about the Deere but we have two 1 year old diesel kubotas...they will deffinety not go 25mph unless your going down hill..18-20 tops if your by yourself and with two people take off a few more mph...we use them for cattle in both hills and flat ground..if you use them to do actual work they aren't bad but we have broke 6 shocks between the both of them and that was just driving on flat ground, they don't go fast enough to beat them. If you want something to drive around in and not go to fast then they are great but for chasing cattle or using for longer drives they aren't the best due to speed. We have cab ones for calving in the winter and they are awesome with the heater but the a/c in the summer is a joke if you have the ac on it kills the power even more and going up a little grade of a hill it can pull it down enough to kill it which is hard to believe.
