| We've never had a problem with tire feed bunks except that when it thaws it can get a little soupy around them so you need to move them around a little. Had a neighbor quit using them because he thought the young calves would lay around the bunks in manure and he thought his scour problem one year were due to that. He went to hay trailers which he thought were easier to move around. We push ours around with the tractor when we get a little concerned about mud/manure build up, but you need plenty of room to keep moving them around if it gets really muddy. | |
