Casey Iowa | I personally know 4 guys in that position.....do you know what all 4 have in common??? They bought land 15-20 years ago and kept buying land with debt.....they kept their inputs as low as possible....they worked hard.....now their debts are paid off and they are not even growing 220 bushel corn every year. It was more about taking the right chances at the right time with debt....so when a young 20 year says he wants to buy some land it scares me for him to go into so much debt, but then again when those 4 guys were doing that it scares them and close people around them. Time will always tell the future in the end my friend.....just enjoy the ride:) | |
