Alberta | If it is broken, down low, it will have play in it, if it is up high in hip area, you can hear the bones grinding, you cannot do anything. If it flops, you have to cast it or splint it for 3 weeks. Do not leave it if it moves!!!! We have done that and the bone died. It may have gotten stepped on and things are just swollen, I would give resflor as it has antibiotic and an anti inflammatory. This will be good if it is swelling from being stepped on and or joint ill. If it is broken, I would splint it or cast it. If it is joint ill and you don't treat, it can get in all the joints and the calf will die.
