Wi | bad farmer - 1/30/2015 10:09 i think this is scary information, i dont have a opinion on either side but the fact that we are still doing something that only 88% approve of and then the scary thing is then only 37% of the public think it is safe is very scary. this shows how little the public trusts the usda, and the scientists. makes you wonder who we can realy trust and who we can use to earn the consumers trust?
Scientists are people too, just because they have a degree does not mean they are nuetral on everything. Personal motivation is what drives most people and not many people are motivated by being nuetral, they want to prove their side. If the general public is afraid of GMO's and scientists still come up at that high of a percent I feel pretty good. It means all of the ones that wanted to prove GMO's were bad, found out they might not be and changed their opinion or just don't talk about it.
