I DO NOT usually post about sales or trades.. but have been getting flack about not doing that.. so..

I scaled in some new crop wheat hedges during December on 2015 wheat..

when I cleaned the bins on the last of the 2014 old crop.  I now have about $1 gain.

Given the severe break in the price as well as the Winter Wheat Weather markets just ahead I am going to sell puts against these positions.  If prices continue to move lower.. I will not gain 1:1.. As I am selling these puts.. $5.50's KC.. for around $.33 - .03 commission from broker with a goal of adding.. $.20.. $.25.. which is "about" what I think we'll see on a.. ??  $.75 pop higher.

If it stays here I'll earn time value.. If it goes another $.40 lower.. it will be a wash.

More than that and better off not doing anything..  Somewhat risky but in this environment got to push to make a margin somewhere..

"I could be wrong."

"NOT a solicitation to trade.. people can AND DO lose $$$ trading futures.. options.. actuals.. etc.."

"Later."

filled.. I could have probably got a better fill.. maybe should have looked at lower strikes depending upon how tight I wanted to run it..

"oh well.."

"Spec's.. I'll take your short $$$"
