Yes, I contacted Gott a couple of years ago and was basically told the demand was not there for the swivel spout so Rubbermaid had it trashed. I called Rubbermaid, voiced my wish for the swivel spout jug and the lady said I would be happy with the "Victory style" jug....a flip spout......NO, I LIKE MY SWIVEL SPOUT!
Just looked at the bottom of my jug, it's a 1524 and I would guess that this is because of the big molded handle.......don't have a need for the molded handle but the rest I would like to be useable and leak proof and stay together. Funny I can find ALOT of 1/2 gallon swivel jugs...............don't want the hassle of carrying 2 per day and rolling all over the tractor floor.
