Subject: RE: ? for DG N. AL

NW Tennessee
Where is Hillsboro in relation to Town Creek, Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, etc.? We go through that area 1 or 2 times a year travelling from Corinth, MS to Cullman, AL where we hit I-65. Passed through there 3 weeks ago. Looks like ya'll have been awfully dry this summer. The cotton normally looks good through there, but is awfully short this year. Corn was just beginning to be shelled when we came through. How much did the dry weather affect it? Was wondering if that was the normal time for shelling corn in that area, or did the dry weather speed it along? This was the first year we've been through there in August in several years. I'm located in NW TN, so we're normally a little behind you. We plan to try our corn the first of the week.
