Near-north Ontario, French River
I took a length( 30 inches or so long) of PVC sewer pipe, I think 8in diameter and cut 3 slots in one end. The slots fit over the mounting brackets for the spreader. Auger spout drops into this pipe. Helps keep things reasonably centered. I will say this is only on a smaller auger coming from the wet tank and dropping into our shivvers dryer. One thing it definitely did do is reduced some of the 'splash' of grain as it dropped onto the spreader. Not sure the idea would work for a 13" auger, an auger that big is moving a LOT of grain and trying to direct that grain flow is going to take something very stiff and strong..
