Spring Grove MN | I thought about it and discussed it with several people. From what I learned, it is not worth it for what would be saved. Look at buying direct from the terminals or having someone do the paperwork for a few dollars to buy terminal direct. About the best I can figure is saving an average of $60/ton on all dry product. It adds up but the COOP will not even think of dropping that much, in my experience. In my opinion, there are too many well paid individuals in the COOPs these days and I feel they no longer accomplish what there were meant to do and I thought that was save the farmer money from group buying. | |
