Fulton County Ohio | Here is a pic that may match your planter, minus the Red-Green (Canadian) duct-tape. If the tie-strap/duct-tape is too high it compounds the kink issue. Corn stalks soon remove the tape and move the tie-strap. Notice the pin and washers are gone above the hinge. Corn stalks are tough.
