That's not photoshopped, don't ask me how I know. All I know is the hitch sheared at some point, not sure where, but there couldn't have been much in the tank at the time otherwise it would be all over the bar. As far as the road, it could be but I'm willing to bet it was a defect/stress crack in the drawbar.
