Subject: Sidedress applicator (RANT)

Fayette Co, Iowa
I don't ever come on here to rant or complain, But here it is in a nut shell. Three generations have done business at my local co-op. They scratch our back we scratch theres by being loyal costumers. I call last week and asked the agronomist when they get a "good" applicator in let me know. (Not in a rush, just A heads up)... They called this morning said there headed out with a 15 row year old applicator and its been "looked over" and ready to roll. So I get hooked up head to my "tallest" corn. 4 nozzles are 2 plus inches from hitting the slice in the ground. wing tire is flat, hydraulic line for the lift cylinders is running a pencil stream out of it, all 15 rubbers in the lines that couple to the pop off valves are spitting liquid all over... I started at 1:20 and by 7:45 I got 65 acres done. I get a text from one of the agronomist asking "got much done" I nicely said in a text 65 acres in 6 hours, worked on it 20 mins every hour..... Done ranting...
