EC IL | Good friend works for a company that has fleet fords. For a few years they could order either the Eco-boost or standard v8 over hundreds of trucks all doing the same thing. The mileage was identical when the company compared them. So now no more ordering the Eco boost. Bottom line is its a marketing ploy geared towards better mileage and hooking people on that, and it worked until real world users got ahold of it. | |
