We have a 07 KW with a10spd ultrashift it is not as smooth as a regular 10spd with a clutch in reverse but not bad. it seems like  with a  empty  trailer it is a little worse do not really even notice when loaded.  Only a few pounds heavier  and much more operator friendly, I would not get another truck without now.
