Southwest Illinois | Make sure the belt is tight. If it is a top drive make sure it is extra tight. If that isn't the problem your feed flaps in your hopper that lay on the belt may be worn and may be letting wheat under the belt in the hopper. Check to make sure there isn't buildup under the flaps that would prevent them from making a tight seal. Also try to feed the belt against the rear of the hopper opening. Sometimes people want to drop it right on the belt and sometimes that lets grain get under the belt if the feed flaps are worn or don't fit tight. | |
