I am glad you chimed in on the bearings Phil. I am having some difficulty deciding  how to determine the tension on the belt due to the spring loaded tensioner that is used. The book that comes with the pump gives a formula but I don't know how much force to use pushing on the belt to get the distance the belt will give because of the spring loaded idler pulley. I do know that the belt is tighter than it was with the original setup. I am planning on getting a longer belt to try on it tomorrow.
