East Central SD | This really shouldn't be a big project, but I've only done JD heads before. A neighbor called me this morning and wanted to know if I would narrow his 1044 4-row 36" head down to a 4-row 30" head. There shouldn't be any clearence issues since it'll still be on 30's, right? Is it easy as a Deere to slide together? What about the tin? I'm guessing the snouts can't be narrowed that far, so we'll need replacements or poly? Any help is greatly appreciated.
