| Tom what brand are you looking at? Model and year? I would get one with hi/lo and if your getting an automatic go with Yamaha. They have a centrifugal clutch inside the gear case like the manual shift quads... With this setup the belt is always under tension and when idling does not spin... whereas the Polaris has a setup like a sled where they are not under enough tension till your on the throttle a bit more. I currently have an '04 Kodiak 450 and in low gear can pull 150bu of wheat in a gravity wagon around like nothing. Ed | |
