Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | You can still get all the wear parts, standards I don't know about. Need to check wear on frog and landslides. Before you start, soak the toggles with penetrating oil, also soak the locking mechanism for the gauge wheel. Carry a bar and hammer in the field, those toggles wont always reset after they trip, you have to stick that bar in the back and tap the toggle back in place. Grease that pivot religiously. If you are in rock, I have heard of people busting the gears lodging a rock or stump in them and trying to flip it. If you cant pull it as 4, you can drop it down to 3. They are very good plows. |
