NW Central Ohio | ...I dunno if I would call 15% good to go, especially if I had the heads off and going to pull the caps off the rods anyways. Why not run a ball hone down the cylinders (assuming there's no major lip or wave in the cylinder wall) and put a new set of rings on it while you're at it? On race motors we used rings that would cut leakage to less than 2%. I don't think that's necessary...but if you're going to pull the caps anyways??? | |
