There are some things you are way better off hiring done. Sandblasting is one of them. FWIW, sandblasting is a last resort. Your better off treating the steel and painting in my experience, but we don't have rust issues like wetter places either. I absolutely hate sandblasting, it does a good job, but makes a royal mess too.
