SE Michigan | Did ford take a loan from the FED and pay it back with fixed terms?? ( I don't know.....seriously asking) if they did, what is the issue. In GM's case, they took money from the FED....and paid it back with stock so the FED lost a billion or two. ( that is my issue with the GM loan)
I 'thought" that he money that Ford got was a ligit independent loan where they put up everything they owned for it including the their trade marks, In all the readings I did on the auto industry ( 3 books) I read nothing about a goverment loan PAID to Ford, they did receive loan gaurentees but my understanding is they never used this money
