I would also check with custom blasters in your area, sand blasting is unpleasant business, and very time consuming, an leaves a sandy mess 50 feet in every direction.
Be sure to ask them about dis assembly requirements on equipment, you don't want sand in chains, bearings and bushings, and there can be no grease or oil on any bit of metal.Sand can damage or destroy rubber and plastic parts.Also, wires go away when blasted.
A corn planter for example must be completely disassembled and each part cleaned and primed then painted individually for a really nice factory type paint job. Also it is a good idea to never sand blast on or near an engine, one grain of sand where not wanted will ruin your day.
Painting equipment to look like factory new is a huge job, I would check around and see if there is another way to clean things, ask other farmers with nice looking stuff what they did. Good luck.
