Ridgway, IL | Tc, i don't know if it is of any interest to you... But sometimes I have to load part loads of fat cattle to go to Tyson in Joslin IL. Just due to not having the right number of calves.
My Tyson buyer has told me that if I found anyone interested in filling out my part loads, that he could try to work with them on contracting the cattle. Also, the truckers have told me they wouldn't mind making an additional stop, which I think your not too far out of their path anyhow... I think they go up 57.
Anyway if its somthing you might be interested in, might be a way for you to do some forward contracting. And me to reduce my freight bill
I have a part load going dec 30, sometime on feb, and sometime in April.
