Subject: Help with Agleader Yield Monitor?

Morris, IL
We have a JD 7720 that we have ran an Agleader yield monitor for as long as i can remember. Problem i'm having is when i adjust clean grain elevator at the bottom it changes yield. If i only combined corn i would probably never have to adjust clean grain elevator tension but in beans we seem to have to tighten it daily. So this is what is happening, i got it all calibrated for corn within .5% and everything was great for a day then went to beans. Calibrated for beans to about 1.5%, then next day it's off 7%. Got to do corn again and guess what it's off 5% in same field where i calibrated. I can not trace this problem to anything other then adjusting clean grain elevator tension. Top clearance is set to about 1/2". It tapers a little so 7/16 to 9/16" or so. Same every time i check it, impact plate looks good. Got any ideas, few years ago i noticed was having same problem to a much higher degree and found top of elevator way off so i have to think their is something wrong up top but don't know if i should tighten it, loosen it, and how much?

In my mind i'm trying to figure a way to make/build a spring tensioner for bottom of the elevator. I'm just getting very tired of this problem, really want to get it figured out before i drag this problem into another year.

Until last fall we ran a PF 3000, calibrated once with weight wagon and just drove rest of the year. Few years ago we added grain cart scale and then updated yield monitor to a Integra and that is when i really started noticed this problem. With cart scale we weight every bushel so i'm more aware of what it is doing. Am i asking too much of monitor? Are others seeing same problem? Going to give agleader a call tomorrow as well but though i would ask here as well. Thanks in advance guys.
