Subject: How soon can I test for vomitoxin in wheat?

SEON
Does anyone have any insight on testing wheat for toxins?

It seems I can't get the variety of SRWW seed that I want, which is the same as I planted last year. One option is to use this year's crop but it's been a wet year and I don't really want to encourage fusarium head blight in next years crop. This year's crop "looks" OK but how soon (at what growth stage) can I get it tested for vomitoxin/DON?

I called the lab and they said I can get it tested now but "I'm not sure how accurate the results will be". Well....neither am I LOL.
