My nice screw up for the year was I left my 1/2 planter disconnect off for a 1/2 mile round. and didn't realize till the corn got up. 8 rows 1/2 mile long. I had to hook up to the 4 row and try to be a good driver for once. I felt pretty damn stupid. And where was it? In a place along a busy road. Tucked away but close enough for you to see. I can't wait until Google updates the imagery so I can see the corn that was planted 2.5 weeks behind the rest. Luckily the landlord just thought it was funny. I guess looking back it's funny but that 1.25 acres is definitely going to yield less. | |
