Subject: Reporting planted acreage to FSA

SE MN Still in Pothole Country
Simple when you plant whole field in one attempt and get whole thing planted. This year not so much. For instance if you have a 100 acre field and had to leave 3 acres does one report the whole thing planted or the 97 that got planted? In a year where you planted it all and 3 acres drowned out by the time acreage was reported we have reported whole thing as planted. Could ask at FSA but want some opinions first before I do.

Also what if you plant 90 per cent of a farm one day and had to finish three days later because you were rained out in the first attempt. What date to use? Again no big deal in normal early planting but this year into the insurance reduction period.
