Subject: Re: Rescue treatment on resistant waterhemp advice

Coles County, Illinois
I can see why people want the dual nozzle tips now. I sprayed a field with .6 oz Cadet w 40 oz Roundup and 2 lb AMS. Waterhemp was 4". Maybe got 1/2 of them. It just burned the top out of the rest. Part of my problem was the wind picked up and I dropped down to 30 psi and 15 gal/acre. Big mistake. With all the rain just got back in for a respray 2 1/2 weeks later. Went with 12 oz of Cobra, .5 % COC and 4# AMS.Spraying 25 gal/acre @ 60 psi. Saturday. Hoping it gets the now 1' tall Waterhemp. Beans look like I killed them. Neighbors have fields with nothing on them yet. Waterhemp is 2' tall and growing several inches a day. Custom App guys are swamped. Not sure RR beans have a future around here.
