Subject: RE: Planting

Nebraska aka the boondocks
The fact is, there are a certain number of row units running per hour, per acre. There was a number in 1992 and there is a number today. the "actual" number may never be known because we don't know what everyone is doing at any given time. Why some people feel so compelled to argue with that is beyond me. Whatever turns people's cranks. For every guy that has "more" planting capacity there is another guy trying to farm 10,000 acres with one 36 row, like a guy by me. it still mostly depends on the weather, there is only so much suitable weather on any given year, and there is nothing you can do about that.
