I had a dairy cow quite a number of years ago which continued to pass blood out of her vulva for a couple of days after giving birth to a large calf (I had to pull the calf). I called the vet, he said not to worry that it was normal. I persisted and got him to come out and look. He ended up sutchering (sp?) the blood vessel which was leaking in her birth canal. I'd suggest calling your vet and chatting with him/her.
