East Central Ia | We have about one year under our belts with a track tractor. We love it but worry a bit about he beaming so we haven't put it on our planter yet. Is this a legitimate concern or does it not effect the corn on the end rows?
This is also a concern about swapping our wheels for tracks on the planter. Do they berm like the tractor does?
How does the row unit folding work? Is it another step to do during the fold/unfold process or does it tie in somehow to work pretty fool proof?
Our tractor is an MT855c with 30" belts set on 120" spacing and our planter is a DB60 36r20" machine.
What size tracks should we be looking at for the planter?
Our soils are most silty loam to clay loam, will we have trouble planting into tracks? | |
