Subject: RE: Chimel, I may have found my new feed reader

I noticed the 1-2 hours delay for the TED Talks feed, but that's OK for such podcasts, today's talk did appear less than 2 hours after it appeared on Google Reader. Other feeds appeared in mere minutes after they appeared on Google Reader, looks pretty good to me.

I created a brand new InoReader account, didn't want to link it to my Facebook or Google account.
One thing I noticed is that there is no button to log in in Internet Explorer, as if scripting was disabled.
Works fine on Firefox (my main browser) or Chrome though.
I had to log in again this morning in Firefox, although (I think) I selected "Remember me" the fist time.
Hope it's temporary, will see how it works tomorrow.

Slight difference with Google Reader: Attachments (such as TED Talks videos) are hidden behind a link and not clickable directly anymore. So it makes what was already cumbersome even more so. I had to remove half a point for awkwardness out of 100 points of awesomeness in my review. ;)

I'll check out their forums later.

I was looking at Diggs' reader too, but they seem to be paving the way for a paying reader:

Free products on the Internet don’t have a great track record. They tend to disappear, leaving users in a lurch. We need to build a product that people can rely on and trust will always be there for them. We’re not sure how pricing might work, but we do know that we’d like our users to be our customers, not our product. So when we asked survey participants whether or not they would be willing to pay, we were pleased to see that over 40% said yes.
