Subject: Hearing Aids?

Stillwater OK
I've been wearing "Miracle Ear" for 7 or 8 years now and overall pleased with them. Where we are now in MO they can't seem to keep service personal in the area. Don't like to drive an hour to get service. Probably time for an upgrade as I understand they have made some directional improvements, so I don't have to sit by the wall in a group setting. Have belltone in my area. are they as good ? Also can get others for 10% of the cost but I'm concerned that if it's not tuned or set to my condition are they really as good for me in the long run. My hearing loss is my own doing, straight pipes, chainsaws, radios on the fender of open tractors with straight pipes so load the wife could hear them a mile away. I think you get the picture. Now at 70 I'd like to hear for the next however.

So just spend the Five or six grand and stop wining? What say you that have been down this road?
TIA
