Subject: RE: Chimel, I may have found my new feed reader

Elmira, Ontario

The InoReader site is being updated multiple times per day, and still has bugs being worked out, so I'm not too hard on it yet. I have found that some feeds don't update as quickly as Google Reader. In the testing I've done, it can be an hour or more behind. I'm not 100% convinced yet it's pulling all new content from each of my subscriptions.

InoReader has a bulletin board going where we can report issues. The developer seems to be very responsive right now in monitoring, replying to, and actually fixing any issues that are reported.

I just hope the guy doesn't run out of steam by being chased in circles with all the odd requests he's already getting. He's obviously very talented. As far as I can tell, he went from concept to a functioning Reader system in just a few weeks, and is now mainly tweaking things and correcting bugs. Not sure if he has a day job or not!

He has declined at this time to address how this site is to be funded. If funding causes changes to be made that I don't like, I'll just export the opml file and start over in another Reader. Other than reading patterns and having one of my email addresses on file, there's nothing personal that they can gather from my use of the site.

Digg is supposed to be coming with something based on Google Reader as well, but their pace of development appears to be just a bit slower.
