SW Ohio | pretty darn sure it is the hard drive, cannot get past the welcome screen on XP and sometimes not even that far.
question is, do I stick another hard drive in my tower and what can I do for software, all is lost??
Do I get a whole new system, really really don't want anything above XP?
Is it finally time to look at a Mac?
This is I think the third system I have had die from HD failure, are the solid state ones worth it?
And while I have your attention, any hope of recovering anything off the old drive? Take it to someone? who? | |
