Have to stay in Des Moines over night and I won't be needing a pool or large screen TV.  Just a clean and safe place to sleep.  I've looked at some of the places and sheesh they want either close to $200 or over for a night.  I rented out a house with a garage, water and lawn care for only about twice that amount.

We want to be near the Historical Society building for an event and being older we don't want to get lost in Des Moines looking for the event.
